A grumbling Conservative (with a small ‘c’ for now), Morag is old enough to know about life yet young enough to still be living it. She can usually be found showing her feet to whomever wants to see them, while swigging absinthe from her initialled hipflask. Right now she hangs her sarong up in London but she’s a TCK(ThirdCultureKid) so her opinions are culled from all the cultures she’s been a part of. Morag takes no prisoners..in fact minding everyone’s business is what she does for a living. But now she’s ready to say it as loud and as proud as she feels (must be the absinthe kicking in..). If she loves ya she loves ya – but stand back if she doesn’t……………………………..

Very interesting blog. You write with conviction and very well. I am interested in your themes on the family. Coming into marriage for the second time and both my wife and I coming from failed marriages, some of the things you say make a great deal of sense as we try to make our way through life’s hurdles with a six year old boy and an eight year old girl.
